Point Loma

After spending Tuesday morning at La Jolla, we headed out to Point Loma for the afternoon. While we were there we saw amazing views of San Diego. We stopped and saw the Old Point Loma Lighthouse that is located at the top of the cliff. (After looking up links for this post I realized there is a New Point Loma Lighthouse that we could have seen...maybe next time.) Miriam was really excited about the lighthouse and bought her first souvenir, smashed pennies, at the gift shop. Behind the lighthouse is a spot that is really good for whale watching. Of course we were there during the wrong month to see whales, but it was an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. Point Loma is also where the Cabrillo National Monument is, but we never made it over there.

Before heading back to our hotel we decided to go to our first DDD stop. We hit up OB Noodle House and ate the most amazing fried rice on the planet. Seriously, so good.
