Have I mentioned before how my kids are not big fans of the water? (I am pretty sure they get it from me because I don't really like going swimming.) Miriam and Simon have never really loved taking a bath, they cry when it is time to get their heads wet. I might have found a solution.... SPRAYING WATER. While they don't love the bath or the pool they loved when I took them to some spraying fountains. (They even loved the idea of taking a shower when we got home and have requested taking a shower ever since.) Miriam and Simon couldn't get enough of the water and I didn't have to get wet. I had a lot of fun taking pictures of them running in the water. So here is a small sampling of the moments I captured.
a story of our daily life; sometimes exciting, sometimes mundane, but ours just the same

Kite Flying
While I was looking through pictures from my phone I realized I never posted about the time we flew kites (way back over General Conference weekend in April). I want to share some cute pictures of the kids flying kites. Simon got a kite from Grandma Bishop for his birthday. We didn't really get the kites to stay up for very long. Miriam and Simon thought it was great while it lasted.
