Enjoying Spring

The sun is shining and we aren't wearing coats, it's a good day. During our stop at the park Naomi rode on the swing for the first time. She LOVED it. Miriam was such a good big sister to push her for a while.

Later the kids were excited to get out their bikes and scooters. We sure hope this weather is here to stay.

Naomi at 9 months

Naomi is a busy little girl. It is getting really hard to take her picture when she just wants to go, go, go. She pulls up to everything. She is learning to feed herself finger foods. She has learned to clap. Naomi loves music. She bounces to any and every song she hears. She is so sweet and loves hugs and kisses.

It's hard to believe how fast the last nine months has passed. I can't imagine our family without our Naomi girl.

Levi's 5th Birthday

Levi is five years old. He is excited to start school this fall. At first he was worried that he had to start school the day after his birthday. He was relieved to find out he still had a couple of months home with mom. He is such a sweet and smart boy. He is still a picky eater, but has decided the last couple of months that he likes chicken tacos and chose them for his birthday dinner. He wanted a box of brownies for dessert. He still loves to craft and wanted finger paint for his birthday. He also got Paw Patrol puzzles, a marble run, and a shopping basket.

We sure love Levi and loved celebrating his fifth birthday with him.
I'll sure miss him when he is at school next year.

Simon's 8th Birthday

Simon was so excited to turn eight years old. It's hard to believe he will be baptized very soon. He is a great big brother to Levi and Naomi. He loves playing soccer. He got a FC Barcelona ball and soccer net for his birthday. He loves spaghetti carbonara, so of course that was his choice for his birthday dinner. He had yum yum brownies for dessert.

We love Simon very much and were so happy to celebrate his golden birthday with him.
He is going to do great things this year, I know it!

Naomi at 8 months

Today we took Naomi to see the doctor. She wasn't very happy to have a stranger talking to her. She is definitely a Mama's girl. She is on the move and loving every minute of it. She is slowly starting to explore the house more. She now knows that if I leave the room she can just follow me.

At 8 months old Naomi is:
7870 grams (17 lbs. 8 oz.)
71.5 cm (28 inches)

She is growing and learning so much each month. She loves her brothers and sister. Her eyes light up when she sees them. Her favorite foods are anything orange (carrots, squash, mango, and sweet potato). She now waves "bye bye" and tries to sign "more". Naomi has pulled herself up to the couch twice. She has a new found love for the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and freaks out when she hears the "Hot Dog Dance". Naomi's signature move below (up on her hands and feet in a bridge):

I feel so blessed to be Naomi's mom. I feel like I waited forever to have her join our family. She is a pure joy and blessing to us.
