Snowed In!

On Friday the 22nd of January it started snowing. The kids had fun playing outside (except Levi - he was not a fan) trying to shovel the sidewalk. We heard it was going to be a big storm, so we stocked up on food and got prepared to spend the weekend snowed in.

By 8:00 am Saturday morning our van was buried. Michael headed out to try to shovel our sidewalk. It was really no use. Not only was it snowing but we had 25-30 mph winds. We decided just to wait it out. That evening I wanted to go down and take some pictures to document the snow. Due to the winds blowing the snow we had quite the pile up in front of our garage.

By Sunday morning the snow had stopped and the winds had died down. We ended up with a huge snow pile in front of our house. The neighborhood kids had a lot of fun making it into a slide.

However, the snow fun can only last for so long. Due to a miscommunication with our HOA our neighborhood got overlooked and didn't get plowed until Wednesday morning. We were literally snowed in for five days!
