Putting up the Christmas Tree

Knowing that Michael would be traveling, we decided to put up our Christmas tree the weekend before Thanksgiving. We ended up doing it in two days because, well kids. On Saturday Miriam and Simon were a big help putting the tree together with Michael while Levi napped (I, of course, directed and took pictures). Miriam and Simon were being so cute and funny. They kept asking me to take pictures of the poses they were doing. After Levi woke up, we ate dinner and then put the lights on the tree.

On Sunday afternoon we got out the ornaments and decorated the tree. I love that the kids look at all the ornaments and ask what they were from. We have an ornament (or two) from each year we have been married. This year we got an airplane to represent our trip to San Diego and a Statue of Liberty ornament from our trip to NYC.
